The Beginning :

Growing up with incredible computer gaming systems like the Commodore 64 and later the Amiga 500, I feel that todays games lack what I used to enjoy from a great RPG adventure game...open ended Exploration, Creative storylines, Riddles and Mystery.

Titles like Dungeon Master, Ultima Series, Eye of the Beholder, Lands of Lore, Legacy of the Anchients, Bard's Tale and Wizardry are just a few brilliant RPG games that come to mind. Yes, it was a simpler time, but from this era we saw an explosion of gaming genres never before seen. For me, today's games, with few exceptions, are dumbed down duplicates showcasing astounding photorealistic imagery with little attention to player interactivity, impactful decision making, or customization of character attributes and the resultant avatar growth.

The Dream:

Forming a net based development team, seven talented individuals were brought together to begin working on what would soon become a project full of lessons learned, egos trampled, and creative idealism.

With everyone in the team ready to begin, we offically decided on our company name, "Dungeon Treasure". Our project? The creation of a real time rpg based dungeon adventure game utilizing mp3 stereo music and sound effects, character voices, 24 bit imagery, real time battles, unique storylines, moral decision making, open ended game exploration along with an integrated enhanced user interface and inventory system. Sounds easy right? :)

Development of the project began in June of 2007 and we hope to have a preliminary beta tested game ready by July 2009. *Crosses fingers*

The Team:

Our team consists of 1 Project Director, 2 Graphic artists, 1 sound/music talent, 2 script writers, and a dedicated Java programmer. The positions are unpaid as we all enjoy working on such an uplifting and creative project together. Creativity is something most of us find little of in our normal day jobs.

The Game:

Dungeon Treasure is proud to announce the official development of our first in a series of dungeon adventure games,

"Dungeon Treasure: Zavier's Chronicles "
